David chairs Dowling Aaron Incorporated’s Business Litigation Department and specializes in litigation arising from complex business and commercial disputes, real estate transactions and leases, real property title issues, and construction projects. In addition, David handles corporate and partnership disputes, and provides counsel to victims of identity theft. David also has a background in municipal law, providing representation and advice to multiple local cities.
David routinely handles civil disputes from a pre-litigation stage through arbitration and trial. David’s pre-trial experience includes extensive law and motion drafting and courtroom advocacy, hundreds of depositions, and representing clients in scores of mediations that resulted in advantageous resolutions prior to trial.
David’s clients include large and small business owners in many industries, banking institutions, real estate developers, insurance companies, general and specialty contractors, design professionals, land owners, and individuals who require legal assistance in civil matters.
David was selected by Super Lawyers® Magazine, as a Rising Star in 2012, and as a Super Lawyer in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 – a distinction given to no more than 5 percent of lawyers in California.
